Securing the booking for the event:

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid the non-refundable deposit of £50 to the makeup artist. Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for the event. All trials take place at Kerry’s home studio which is situated in Thatcham and trials are only offered on a week day.  

Payment:

Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer. Cheques will not be accepted. The non-refundable deposit of £50 paid by the client is deducted from the final fee due. The trial is to be paid for 7 days before the trial takes place. The fee is to be paid in full by the client 7 working Days before the event unless otherwise agreed with Kerry.

Responsibility of the client: 

The client agrees to notify Kerry of any allergies she or her wedding party may have towards any cosmetics. Should a reaction occur, requiring medical attention or not, it is agreed that Kerry is not legally liable or responsible for any injury and/or ailment of any kind. 

Cancellations:

If for any reason the client wishes to cancel the booking it must be done in writing 8 weeks before the wedding/event. If notice is given after this time, the full outstanding amount is payable. If the client does not wish to book the service after their trial then the deposit will be refunded in 7 working days unless the event is less than 8 weeks away in which case it is non-refundable. 

Any changes to the amount of people wanting makeup less than 8 weeks before the wedding/event will still be charged for. 

In the unlikely event that Kerry is unable to make your wedding/event appointment due to personal emergency, act of god or severe illness then all monies will be refunded. 

Photography:

The client agrees for Kerry to take photographs of themselves and/or their bridal party before, during and after makeup services. The client gives permission to KD Makeup Artist to display and publish in any form the photographs taken. 

Additional information:

In the unlikely event that a second makeup/hair trial is requested the same fee applies as the first trial.

Individual lash application is included in the price for the makeup service; there is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.
